Shane Patrick Hart, age 46, passed away on February 23, 2024, at Reading Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on June 12, 1977, at Community General Hospital, he was a son, brother, father, and friend.
Shane was the beloved son of Eddie P. Hart, who predeceased him, and Ginger M. (Steiner) Hart. He carried the memory of his brother, Judd P. Hart, and his daughter, Shayna M. Hart, both of whom had departed before him. His legacy continues through his daughter, Sienna A. Sprecher and his son, Sylas T. Timmons. Shane was also the descendant of his maternal grandparents, the late Barbara M. and Warren F. Steiner, his paternal grandparents, the late Martha and Leroy Smith, as well as his maternal great grandparents, Marion and William Sweitzer.
A 1995 graduate of Gov. Mifflin High School, Shane was well-known for his work ethic. He devoted 32 years to landscaping, where his creative passion for nature brought beauty to many outdoor spaces.
Shane's zest for life was evident in his many interests. He was an avid boater and fisherman, finding peace and joy on the water. His adventurous spirit shone brightly from his youth, where he raced bicycles with excitement. And above all, Shane cherished the times spent hanging out with friends and family where laughter was abundant, and memories were made.
Shane's adventurous spirit, his handy nature, and his humor will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. While Shane's journey on earth has come to a rest, the ripples of his life will continue to touch those he loved and those who loved him.
