Stanley F. Redcay, Jr., 88, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Mifflin Court where he has been a guest.
Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Stanley F., Sr. and Evelyn J. (Weik) Redcay.
Stanley was in the last graduating class of the former Mohnton High School in 1953. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a Supervisor at Bachman Pretzel Factory for 23 years and Quinlan for 20 years and later worked at Weavers Market. He was a member of Zion E. C. Church in Mohnton where he was on the Church Board and taught Sunday school.
Surviving are siblings: Siblings: Martin A. (Rosalie) Redcay of Mohnton; Dennis G. (Bonnie) Redcay of Sinking Spring; Donna M. Beissel of Shillington and Bruce D. (Jamie) Redcay of Silver Spring, MD; and sister in law, Linda Redcay of Mohnton; Gloria Redcay of Shillington, and granddaughter, Cristie, wife of Michael Potzgo of North Carolina, and four great grandchildren, Peyton, Logan, Ashton and Levi.
He was predeceased by his son, Ricky D. Redcay and his siblings, Nancy Parker, Robert M. Redcay, Terry K. Redcay and Ronald J. Redcay.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Robert Shuey, officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
