Susan K. (Leininger) Price

Susan K. (Leininger) Price, 66, of Shillington passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Betty (Hatfield) Leininger and E. Dallas Leininger. She is survived by daughter Amanda L. Price, granddaughter Sophia, brother David K. Leininger (Debbie) and sister Ann L. Young (Brian).  She is also survived by nieces Kristen, Katie, Alex and Madison, nephew Brady, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Recently, Susan has battled many health challenges with positivity and determination. During these years, Susan remained a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and caring sister. 

As a proud Mustang, Susan graduated from Governor Mifflin in 1973, followed by working as a claims analyst at CNA Insurance for 26 years. She was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Congregational Church and Immanuel United Church of Christ in Shillington.  In her early years, Susan was a Girl Scout, active in Christian Endeavor and participated in her local Women’s Club. In more recent years, Sue enjoyed socializing at Berks Encore. She was an ardent dog lover and will leave behind her beloved pug, Leo.

Susan cherished family trips to Norristown and annual vacations to the Jersey Shore, a tradition for over 60 years. Most of all, Susan adored her family - she will be greatly missed by all. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, September 15th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM with service starting at 10:30 AM at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Megan K. Huesgen, officiating.
