Virginia Reinert Obituary

Virginia F. Reinert, of Shillington, a cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024, at the age of 92. She was born on November 4, 1931 in Reading.  Virginia's warm presence and kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Virginia’s journey began in Reading, where she grew up and later met the love of her life, Gerald E. Reinert. The couple shared a beautiful marriage until Gerald's passing on March 11, 2008. Together, they raised a loving family, instilling values of kindness, resilience, and compassion in their children. Virginia was a dedicated mother to Terry E. Reinert of Shillington; Cheryl A., wife of Scott D. Hagenman of Mohnton; Jeffrey L., husband of Karen A. Reinert of North Carolina; and Ronald L. Reinert of Shillington. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, surrounding herself with her family and nurturing them with her love and wisdom.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Virginia was a hardworking individual who spent many years in retail sales. Her work ethic and personable nature made her a favorite among customers and colleagues alike. Virginia also took great pride in her role as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and friends.

Virginia's life was marked by her involvement in various community and association activities, where she made many lasting friendships. Her commitment to her community and her passion for helping others left a lasting impact on those around her.

Sadly, Virginia was predeceased not only by her beloved husband, Gerald, but also by her brother, Richard Reinert, and her daughter, Debra L. Nagle, who passed away on March 20, 2005. Her strength and grace in the face of loss were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Virginia's legacy is one of love, family, and community. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and her unwavering support of her loved ones. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, including her children, their spouses, and the many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched.

As we say goodbye to Virginia, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love. While she may have departed from this world, her spirit will remain with us, guiding and comforting us as we navigate the path ahead.

Virginia's life will be honored in a private ceremony, where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate the remarkable woman she was. In the quiet moments, we will remember her fondly, with stories that bring smiles to our faces and warmth to our hearts.
