Yvonne M. Davies

Yvonne M. (Breneman) Davies passed away at the Reading Hospital on December 7, 2020 after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Thomas C. Davies with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John Breneman and Anne Stallman.  Yvonne was a nurse for many years at the Reading Rehabilitation Hospital and later retired from Milestones where she worked as a parent educator.  She was a member of the sailing crew on the Kalmar Nyckel in Delaware for over 10 years.  She loved traveling and spending time with her family at the beach, boating and fishing.  She was a member of Calvary UMC, Mohnton Women’s Club and the Reading Leiderkrantz.  She is survived by her daughter Laura, wife of Bradley Weisser of Oley and her son Michael fiancée of Morganna vonHaeger of Harrisburg.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Drew Weisser fiancée of Ali Hartranft and Riannon Weisser.  There is one great grandchild, Declan Thomas Weisser.

Due to the pandemic, services will be private and at the discretion of the family.  A Celebration of Life is planned post pandemic.
